New Quarter, New Knowledge

Image
The learning or discoveries that I have gained during this quarter are Html where in I learned about the Nested List and Description list. We also tackled CBR or Community-Based Research, I learned the parts of the CBR and the purpose of the research. The problems or challenges that I encountered are the nested list and designing the web page of our CBR. It's difficulty for me to do the Nested List because I didn't really understand about the topic. Designing our CBR is also difficult because me and my team really don't know how to design a web page. Fortunately, one of my team mates know how to do it. I address this challenges by asking for help with my classmates, teacher and practice teacher. By asking them, it became understandable making the work easier for me to accomplished. Moving on, I will study harder and I will keep learning. I will continue learning about HTML so that my knowledge about it will grow.

Not So Christmas That I've Known

We all know that Christmas  Vacation is a time that we should feel the enjoyment, excitement, warmth and celebration. It is a season that families, friends and relatives come together, create beautiful moments and laugh together but mine turned out not so fun.  Unfortunately,  my  Christmas Vacation turned out sorrowful and a little bit of excitement as well. Me and my family went to the church to attend the Simbang Gabi since I am an altar server and it is a must that we should attend the Simbang Gabi. After the mass, me and my family went to eat outside, Jollibee or Mang Inasal. I also spent my vacation helping my family in our business, selling empanada. It continued going like this for 9 days. When December 24 came, we went to the church to attend the Christmas Eve Mass together with my family, after that we should celebrate the Christmas but then suddenly my family started arguing about something. In the end, we didn't celebrate the Christmas and didn't have our...

2nd Quarter Journey has come to an end

Image
My 2nd quarter jourmey has been both easy and difficult since there is a lot of works that needed to be accomplished right away. At time passes by, I gained a lot of knowledge with the help of our teacher, ma'am Evelyn. I learned about HTML, HTML tags, tables, rows and etc. The challenges that I encounter is that I am not fast when it comes to typing words especially our topics is encoding but at time passes by I am slowly getting fast typing words in our computer but even though I am already fast, our computer kept turning off when someone unintentionally touch or move the outlet wherein the computer is plugged in and we need to do it again. It is time consuming especially when we don't finish it by the time our class has end and we need to do it by the other day, that will lead us to be left behind because our classmates is already on the next activity and we're still in the past activity, it's very difficult but I/we still managed to do it. I adress this challenges ...

Be the Change and fight Climate Change

Image
Climate change refers to long-term shifts in temperatures and weather patterns. Such shifts can be natural, due to changes in the sun’s activity or large volcanic eruptions. But since the 1800s, human activities have been the main driver of climate change. The Philippines, an archipelago of over 7,000 islands, is acutely vulnerable to the impacts of climate change. The predominant reasons for sudden and progressive environmental changes adversely affecting Filipinos stem from a confluence of factors, both natural and human-induced.  Firstly, the country's geographical location in the typhoon belt makes it highly susceptible to increasingly intense and frequent typhoons, super typhoons, and other extreme weather events. Climate change exacerbates these natural hazards, leading to stronger winds, heavier rainfall, and more destructive storm surges. Secondly, rising sea levels pose a significant threat to low-lying areas and coastal communities. Saltwater intrusion contaminate...

Protecting Children, Protecting our Future

REFERENCE: https://www.iloilotoday.com/bata-ako-ph-national-childrens-month-2019/ REFERENCE: https://www.seekpng.com/ipng/u2w7y3i1r5w7i1u2_national-childrens-month/ This program highlights the needs for child protection in the Philippines.  This isn't just a month; it's a call for sustained action addressing the causes of child abuse, including poverty, lack of education, and harmful cultural norms.  Punishing abusive people is insufficient; we must invest in prevention through family strengthening programs, early childhood development, and economic empowerment. I remembered "Ang kabataan ang pag-asa ng bayan" is a line that was delivered by the national hero, Dr. Jose Rizal which I, myself agreed. So I believe that we must care for children responsibly.  Creating a safe environment for them requires all of us or basically, it requires collaboration. We need to make a culture of respect and protection for children, where reporting abuse is normalized and victims recei...

Cleaning the environment is very important. There are a lot of benefits that we can get from cleaning, such as health benefits (a clean environment reduces the risk of diseases), sustainable resources (a clean environment is essential for the preservation of natural resources), biodiversity preservation (cleanliness helps protect diverse ecosystems and endangered species), etc. I can say that cleaning is an investment in our future. By taking action today and every day, we can have a healthier environment in the future. Practicing cleanliness can make a difference for us. It is our responsibility to leave a clean environment for the next generation. Watering plants is one of the best way to take care the environment. It involves providing the right amount of moisture to support their growth. Planting plants like tree provide everything we need in our life such as shelter, decreases calamities, it gives fresh air and etc. Sweeping everyday helps prevent the accumulation of pollutio...

Also, I have difficulties in understanding the lessons sometimes because I can't focused and I have a lot of things coming up in my mind. Moving on, I will continue learn...
